Registration is the first day of class. During registration, the student will take a test to determine their level of English. The exact date and time are announced three weeks prior to when the classes are due to begin, and will be made available through flyers and on the TAP Web site.
No student should enter a class without registering first. Once classes begin we will continue to accept registration based on space availability and intake date. Late applicants should make an appointment to register and take the test to determine their level. Appointments can be made through HartfordLEARN by calling (860) 695-6337. Note: If there is no space available, the student will be place on the waitlist.
Class space is limited. If a class is filled, the library will provide other options for learning English, such as training with special resources (DVDs, CDs, and computer programs).
