Grennan tells his story of working in an orphanage in war-torn Nepal. After he learns of brutal child trafficking there, he committs himself to reuniting the children with their families.

Nicaraguan novelist Sergio Ramirez’s A Thousand Deaths Plus One will be the focus of the next meeting of the Hartford/ Ocotal Sister City Project and Hartford Public Library reading group. This book was originally published as Mil y Una Muertes in 2004 and has been translated from the Spanish by Leland H. Chambers. This group generally meets on the third Wednesday of each month 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
