Is it public or private?
How many employees does it have?
What are its finances?
What is the company’s business, what are its products, services?
Who are its main clients?
What industry does it fall into?  How is the industry doing?
Any current news about the company?
Is the company going through any legal proceedings?
Is it developing any new products, patents?  What are their research and development plans?
What is the rank and/or market share of the company within its industry?
What is public opinion on this company?
