Preparing the Workforce with 21st Century Skills


CTWorks, Capital Workforce Partners, and Hartford Public Library have partnered to bring a CTWorks "One Stop" Center to the Downtown Library!

Location: Hartford Public Library, 500 Main Street, Hartford, CT  06103. 

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.


  • From Route I-91 (North & South)
    Take Exit 29A on the left toward Capitol Area. Merge onto Conlin-Whitehead Hwy.  Take Prospect Street exit towards Main Street.  Merge onto Arch Street.  Turn left onto Main.
  • From Route I-84 (East)
    Take exit 48B for Capitol Avenue.  Turn left onto Capitol Avenue.  Turn left onto Main Street.
  • From Route I-84 (West)
  • Take exit 54 on the left toward Downtown Hartford.  Merge onto CT-2W.  Continue onto State Street.  Continue onto American Row.  Continue onto Central Row.  Turn left onto Main Street.


Street parking is available on Main Street, Arch Street(1-way), and Sheldon Street(1-way).  Also there is a parking lot behind the Library whose entrance is off of Arch Street (1-way).  There are 10 free spaces for Library customers.  On weekdays up until 6:00 p.m., there is a charge for parking.  Pay Stations take coins and cards for a limit of 2-hours.  On evenings and weekends parking is free.
