Pressbooks

CREATE YOUR PUBLICATION-READY MANUSCRIPT!

Pressbooks is an easy-to-use digital self-publishing tool that allows local writers to create professional-quality files formatted in ePUB (compatible with most ebook readers), MOBI (compatible with Kindles) or PDF (print friendly). After creating an account, you can type up your manuscript or upload a manuscript previously written in Word or other formats.

You’re encouraged to watch the Pressbooks Public Tutorial before you start working with Pressbooks. You may also refer to the Pressbooks User Guide.

Indie Author Project

SUBMIT YOUR EBOOK!

Indie Author Project (IAP) allows authors to submit their works for inclusion in the Biblioboard Indie Connecticut Collection. Works are further evaluated by editorial partners for possible inclusion in the IAP Select collection, which is available at participating libraries across the U.S. At that point the title will be available for library purchase on OverDrive and other library ebook platforms. Authors may earn royalties on ebooks that are purchased.
